We are seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our clients Finance & Administration Team based in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and efficient individual, that likes to take ownership of their work.

Salary: £24,000 Pro Rata

Holidays: 33 days, including bank holidays

What we are looking for in a Accounts Payable Assistant:

  • High attention to detail.
  • Innovative and creative approach.
  • Excellent written English and grammatical knowledge.
  • IT Skills Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database Management.
  • Flexible approach, highly organised and effective time management skills.
  • Work as part of a small, dedicated team.
  • Finance software knowledge.
  • Accounts experience.

Duties of the Accounts Payable Assistant to include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for company mail & distributing within the business.
  • Filing, limited reception duties, registering visitors on arrival ang signing for deliveries.
  • Marrying up transactions in the bank and process the mixed payments.
  • Employee expenses & petty cash claims.
  • Entering suppliers invoices on to Purchase Ledger.
  • Reconciling Purchase ledger statements.
  • Monitoring stock accounts.
  • Answering incoming emails and calls from suppliers.
  • Assisting with any other purchase ledger tasks as required.
